It's hardly 4 days now and one of the first to react to the Bigg Boss 6 participants list was Mumbai-based leading fashion designer and stylist Umair Zafar. Umair Zafar said, "Last year Bigg Boss was B-grade. This year it has fallen to the C-grade category.
Most of the participants are neither celebrities, nor controversial nor have they contributed in any way to society. The models are unknown, the TV actors are passe, and barring a couple of them, I have never heard or seen any of them on the social circuit. At least Dolly Bindra, Shweta tiwari and Pooja Misrra were good entertainers. Raju Srivastava and others were good comedians."
Umair further added, "This year most of the contestants have no USP. From the demographics point too, there is no participant from the south. If Bhojpuri actors are selected year after year, a Tamil or Telugu actor also should be selected. Further, this year Bigg Boss 6 has not been able to find a gay or LGBT character who is normally treated as an object of entertainment or ridicule in the house. There is nobody from the fashion industry, while there are 5-6 Tv actors and 3 models. The Bigg Boss house should have participants from different sectors and industries, not just models and TV actors".
When i personally contacted Pooja Misrra, Bigg Boss season 5 contestant, the gorgeous 'Spare Me' girl reacted "It is so sweet of Umair Zafar that he thought of me as the good entertaining contestant of Season 5. I think Bigg Boss season 6 will gradually pick up the pace. It is going on a little slower note now, But all my fans still tweet me about my performance in the last season". On being asked about a surprise wild card entry in the new season, Misrra added "Why not? Bigg Boss is my home. If approached again, I will sure step inside as a wild card entry".
Despite of Salman Khan promising in the Press and Media umpteen number of times about the clean season-show this year, the point that Umair carried out was if he is a Non-Vegetarian, Why are you serving him a Veg-Food? We all are looking forward for the momentum pace getting picked up by Bigg Boss season 6 as pointed out by Pooja Misrra.
