Amit has been affiliated with Starwood Hotels & Resorts since 2012and has worked with leading hospitality brands since 2008. With his succinct objective of striving to achieve a challenging role where his knowledge and skills can be utilized to embellish the development of both the organization and himself,Amit has made an everlasting impression in the hospitality industry.
Amit is known for his leadership and development skills and has also been awarded for the same by the Starwood Cares Leadership University. Prior to joining The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, Amit Prakash was ascribed as Associate Director of Sales at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, where he took on the responsibility of being the StarGuest Expert for the hotel. Between the years 2008and 2012, Amit was associated with leading hospitality brands such as Oberoi Grand, ITC Hotels, Regus and Hilton.
Among all his other accomplishments, Amit has alsobeen credited with numerous awards such as‘Customer Focused Selling’ in the Sales Seminar at Hilton Worldwide and ‘Management Training Programme’ from Regus Management Ltd as well as aCertificate for ‘Perfect Tour’ regarding Property Show around with demonstration. Among other rewards he also received a Certificate for exceeding 2013 revenue targets and securing a place on the Starwood Asia Pacific Sales Incentive Trip 2013: Starwood Explorer.
Amit holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis,specializing in Sales & Marketing from Pune, India. His other educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science degree (Hospitality and Hotel Administration) from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology, and Applied Nutrition from Kolkata, India as well as a Tourism Management Degree from IGNOU, New Delhi, India. Prakash is passionate about his work and hopes to achieve the highest quality standards for Westin Pune and deliver effective business results.
