Impresario Entertainment and Hospitality, the path breaking company is back with another game changer - Social. An all-day café and bar Social has taken Bangalore by the storm, is making waves in hip Hauz Khas Village, Delhi and will soon be the tweet of every little worker-bee in South Mumbai. Yup, Colaba Social is finally in town.
Riyaaz Amlani was seen greeting all his guests as they walked in. The party at Colaba Social was attended by Rashmi Uday Singh, Krsna Mehta, Aditya Hitkari, Divya Palat, Rahul Aggarwal, Aanchal Kumar, Anupam Mittal, Manasvi Mamgai, Rajeev Samant, Farid Currim, Arshiya Fakih and many more who joined in to celebrate this joyous occasion.
So what’s different about ‘Social’?
Everything Social is everything but your run-of-the-mill square restaurant. Right from the decor to the drinks, the food to the ethos, everythingabout it is far left of center. Social is an all day café and bar where you can work and play, fun drinks and comfort food served with a large helping of unorthodox. It’s also the land of the free (lancer) and home of creative souls looking for an exhilarating alternative to a typical work day. It’s a path-breaking urban hangout that’s designed to take you offline while still keeping you connected; a place where networking can happen even if the net’s not working (don’t worry, the net’s always working). It’s a space where artists meet designers and innovators meet entrepreneurs meet photographers, writers meet web developers, and creative independents meet to bounce ideas off like-minded peers. So what do you know, it might just be time to press the 'delete' key on your typical work day.
Riyaaz Amlani, CEO & MD Impresario Handmade Restaurants says “Social is a response to the needs of today. India is a young emerging super power full of youthful exuberance and entrepreneurial zest. Coffee shop clones which have been projected as the “Third Place”, a place away from home and your work/college, no longer completely address the needs of their audience. They have become monotonous and uninspiring. With Social, for the very first time in restaurant history we have introduced the Second Place concept, an inspiring space where you can both work and play. I am thrilled to bring Social home to Mumbai."
The food highlights for the evening included Baida Roti, Kheema Pao, Awesamsosas, Vada Pao Bao, Sriracha Paneer to name a few from the menu. The bar featured delicious cocktails like Longest Long Island Iced Tea, Cutting Sangria and Zipper Sipper.
