EuroSchool – a co-educational venture comprising 17 schools across India owned by India’s largest pre-school chain, EuroKids -- is hosting a three-day children theatre festival called ‘Footlights’ 11-13 January 2013 at the Kalidas Auditorium The Festival was inaugurated by Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor.
‘Footlights – The Children’s Theatre Festival’ is an innovative platform for anyone who’s interested in culture and any form of performing or visual arts. It will feature three highly-acclaimed plays for children -- Jungle Book on 11th January, ‘Suar Chala Space Ko’ on 12th January and In the Cat House on 13th January.
The plays are curated and performed by a group called ‘Theatre Professionals’ which has been working in young people’s theatre for the last 5 years.
