The Chivas Studio, the haute luxe creative platform, is back with an exemplary repertoire of artists for its 2011 edition in Delhi and Mumbai. CHIVAS brings together talent from diverse fields in a unique format to build new experiences and amalgamates fashion, art, mixology, cinema, music, gourmet food.

After an extravagant show and overwhelming response for the Delhi edition held in November, the Chivas Studio is being hosted at the Mehboob Studio over the weekend in Mumbai. The 2011 edition of Chivas Studio will showcase a innovative collaboration between Ro han Sippy, an exemplary film maker with Ranjit Barot, a globally renowned musician, fashion designer duo...Abraham & Thakore for the Fashion Broadway. Paresh Maity and Jatin Kampani will create the Art Foyer and Brian Olsen, the live art maestro will collaborate with Mrigya, a renowned Indian fusion band for Art Jam. Max Warner, International Brand Ambassador & Head Mixologist for Chivas Regal will present the concept of Mixology and will ensure that every Chivas cocktail experience is perfect. Artist and fashion maestro Rohit Bal once again creates an unique installation for Chivas 18.

Commenting on the third edition of The Chivas Studio, Bikram Basu, Vice President - Marketing, Pernod Ricard India said, “The Chivas Studio has been successful in bringing different art forms under one roof to collaborate, renew and create. It is a unique, innovative, red carpet platform which brings alive the world of Chivas.”

Rohan Sippy is ecstatic about directing the musical – Love and all that Jazz, which is a key highlight of the Chivas Studio 2011. “Directing a live musical is new to me; moreover, it is something that hasn’t been tried before by anyone in India. That makes the experience a challenging one,” he says.
“Like any Broadway musical, this one will have songs, dance and glamour. This is a love story set against a ’60s backdrop; so get ready to revisit the golden era”, he adds.
Chivas Studio 2011 edition was hosted in Delhi on November 26/27, 2011 and is now in Mumbai on Dec 10/11, 2011. The various creative renditions will include:
Fashion Broadway ...Love and all that Jazz...Combining the musical story telling tradition of Broadway and giving it a stylish twist, Rohan Sippy conceives and directs the story of love set in the backdrops of all that is very 60’s. He collaborates with the multi-faced Ranjit Barot and David Abraham & Rakesh Thakore, the internationally acclaimed fashion designers to capture the style and musical soul of the period.

Art Foyer...Painter and installation artiste Paresh Maity collaborates with ace photographer Jatin Kampani to create an art experience that embraces interpretations of various forms of art such as installations, photograph, paintings, video art et al.

Art Jam…Denver based Live Art maestro Brian Olsen creates live art to the beats of the musical rhythms of Mrigya.

Mixology… Internationally celebrated and Chivas Brand Ambassador Max Warner gives a creative twist to everyday flavours…Result-Liquid masterpieces!
