Akshay Kumar starrer Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobaara! is released today after much struggle over screen size and managed 1200 -1300 screens. Movie opened to fantastic occupancy and expected on national holiday film is superb all over.
movie has 90% occupancy in Kanpur, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon an other centers. movie lost Rajasthan territory due to trouble with producers and reelased in very less screens in north. But riding on Akshay''s star power and sequel factor 1st day should be huge.
But it will be ironic that even after good opening film might collect lesser number than "Chennai Express" which is in its 7th day. As per early trends, Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobaara should target 10 cr nett and anything excess will be bonus though 8 cr nett looks more realistic at the moment.
All of this means that if Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobaara is a well made film, which appears to be the case, it should stay on well for at least a fortnight till Satyagraha releases and earns its own chunk of screens. Meanwhile the film is poised to benefit from Independence Day holiday, Sunday and then Rakhi (Tuesday) which should ensure that there is a bountiful of moolah all set to be added.
