AURANGZEB First Look, Soon after the success of Ishqzaade, it was YRF’s Aurangzeb for Arjun Kapoor. The young actor was just one-movie-old, but the makers were confident enough to cast him in this film, an intriguing and gripping drama. So, this summer, there will be only one Emperor, declares YRF.
Since there was not enough buzz surrounding Aurangzeb, there was little known about the film. But we hear Arjun Kapoor will be seen in a double role, and the poster, too, shows it. Shockingly, both the characters have similar style and look on the poster, which also clearly states -- SON BROTHER SUCCESSOR EMPEROR. The movie is even said to be the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1978 superhit Trishul.
With the first look out, the makers have also released a small intro -- “Gurgaon, 2013….A family of policemen…A family of gangsters…To bring down a criminal, the law will have to think like a criminal! This summer, there will be only 1 Emperor…”
The movie is directed by Atul Sabharwal and besides Arjun Kapoor in a double role, it also has South actor Prithviraj.
The film boasts of an ensemble star cast of Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Amrita Singh, Deepti Naval, Tanvi Azmi and Swara Bhaskar. And the surprise element in the film is going to be Sasha Aagha, the beautiful daughter of the yesteryear actress, Salma Agha.
