1st Week Box Office Report "David" And "Vishwaroopam"
"Listen...Amaya", "Deewana Main Deewana" and "Mai" collected sum which can be written off and pathetic to say the least. "Race 2" clearly dominated the box office in 2nd weekend though "David" and "Vishwaroopam" were prominent releases.
"David" grew but with such a slender margin that it hardly mattered. Film collected 1.50 cr nett in two days in Hindi version and as per early estimates, film can go to 2.50-2.60 cr nett at best. Film's dark treatment and niche appeal cost the makers dearly.
"Vishwaroopam" performed well but considering the release size of 1050 screens it was below par. Film collected 4.15 cr nett in two days and today as per early estimates, film should collect 3.25 cr nett more taking film's 1st weekend collections to 7.70 cr nett.
"Vishwaroopam" will finish with 10-11 cr nett lifetime collections in Hindi version and "David" will finish with 3.50-3.75 cr nett in Hindi version. Though "David" has collected 5.5-6 cr nett including Tamil/Telugu though that too is not fantastic either.
