Last two weeks saw flop films at box office though both received average to good critical acclaim from so called critics. Today a pure masala film opened which has huge expectation at box office and as usual film received bad reviews from most of the critics.
"Race 2" opened to packed houses in UP, Delhi, East Punjab, NCR and parts of Gujarat. In other areas opening was lower but still fairly good. Reports are mixed but this film looks to ride on content which is full of glamour and high octane thrills. Even the advances are good for the weekend.
Film is heading for good day one and anything between 11-13 cr nett looks possible at the moment. Film should cash on big holiday weekend. We will be back with final report tonight.
