The fans of Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan were jumping for joy when Karan Johar first announced Shuddhi with these two stars. Bollywood buffs want to see this sizzling pair on screen. Though it couldn’t happen in ‘Shuddhi’, if all goes well Hrithik will be seen in Kareena’s upcoming starrer Bombay Samurai.
The makers of Bombay Samurai, Excel Entertainment, reportedly want Hrithik to do a special cameo in the film which is going to be directed by Dev Benegal.
Apparently, the makers have asked Dev Benegal, who is also writing the film’s script, to create a special role for Hrithik Roshan.
“Excel Entertainment’s Ritesh Sidhwani and actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar are keen on including Hrithik in the project. Dev is now writing a role for Hrithik, let’s see how it will work out,” a source is quoted as saying.
If Hrithik is indeed roped in then he will join the ensemble cast featuring not only the likes of Kareena Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar but also Abhay Deol, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kalki Koechlin and Akshaye Khanna.
Bombay Samurai, which has already been postponed to next year, is said to be an offbeat film and is not exactly a thriller.
