first look launch of Lootera, The tales of a budding romance between Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha haven’t been few. And now the duo gave everyone a glimpse of their romantic chemistry at the first look launch of their film Lootera.
At the event held at the Liberty Cinema in Marine Lines, Mumbai, on Friday noon, Ranveer and Sonakshi recreated a romantic scene from the film. In the scene he approaches her and moves very close to her. She doesn’t resist his proximity, but doesn’t fall all over him as well. In short, a scene recreating old-world romance between two lovers.
What impressed us the most was the conviction with which the two reenacted the scene, looking into each other’s eyes and lost in their own universe.
The act did grab eyeballs and everyone from producers Ekta Kapoor, Anurag Kashyap to Sonakshi’s mom Poonam Sinha approved.
Lootera is a romantic period film set in the 1950s, and Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh reportedly play lovers facing parental opposition. The film hits theatres July 5.
