The former Kingfisher girl and ramp model Esha Gupta has been selected to do an item song in Kareena Kapoor’s film.
Oh yeah! the sultry siren will dance to a club number in Kareena Kapoor’s upcoming Gori Tere Pyaar Mein starring Imran Khan, and directed by Punit Malhotra.
But, can Esha dance? Till now the actress has been seen in three films, and only in the movie Raaz 3 did she get to show some dance moves. It’s learnt that Esha Gupta was roped in at the last minute for Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and was asked to come down to Bangalore to shoot the song.
“Punit had initially decided not to cast any actress for the song but at the nth hour, he changed his mind and decided to cast Esha as she was the first choice…,” a source tells a tabloid. Earlier, the director and the choreographer Remo D'Souza were filming the entire track on Imran Khan, but after shooting for a while they felt that the song needs some spice, perhaps a hottie to turn the heat on.
Since the movie is produced by Karan Johar, Esha was keen to be part of the film, and as per sources, it was sweet on Esha’s part to make herself available on such a short notice.
The track is basically a club number and Imran will be seen clubbing with Esha. The lady, we are sure, will look the part as she is styled by Bollywood’s fashion guru Manish Malhotra.
Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is Kareena Kapoor’s first romantic film after her marriage with Saif Ali Khan. The actress will have a very stylish look in the film and is also working on her body.
