After spending his birthday watching the live telecast of the Academy Awards, Shahid is all inspired to start work on his next films. His film "Rambo Rajkumar", which will be directed by Prabhu Deva, goes on the floors today. And the actor couldn’t be happier.
A source attached to the film says, “Yes, the film goes on the floors today. For Shahid, it marks his entry into the world of full-blown masala entertainers.” Apparently, the makers wanted to make it special for Shahid and so planned the shoot three days after the actor turned 32.
The film was announced some time ago but the muhurat was held only yesterday in Bhuj, Gujarat. The source adds, “Besides Shahid, his leading lady Sonakshi Sinha, director Prabhu Deva and producers Sunil and Krishika Lulla and Viki Rajani attended the event. It’s going to be an extended shoot and Shahid will be enjoying a packed working schedule soon after his birthday — just the way he wanted it to be.”
According to sources, Shahid will be canning a few action sequences in this schedule. For an actor who last packed a punch on screen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s hit film Kaminey, it would be interesting to see how Shahid fights his way back into stardom with his Rambo avatar.
