However, recently Sonam revealed some never-shared-before information with BIG RJ Karisma Kapoor during her BIG On Style segment on 92.7 BIG FM’s afternoon women’s show BIG Memsaab. Sonam spoke about her concerns and worries about being over-weight. Sonam revealed that stress of weight gain had started to reflect on her health and with a blood test confirming her worst fears, Sonam had no option but to shed the excess kilos. With her doctor’s orders to lose weight, at the tender age of 16, Sonam decided to get healthy; she ate healthy, worked out and indulged in yoga. It took a span of 2 years, but Sonam managed to shed the excess baggage and started her journey to become the Style Goddess that she is today.
