Umesh Shukla is all upbeat about his upcoming flick, a comedy titled '102 Not Out'. As per reports, he is in talks with make-up artistes and technicians from New York and LA for his upcoming comedy.
The selling point of the film seems to be the casting of Amitabh Bachchan in it, who would be seen playing a 102-year-old man.
Apparently, Paresh Rawal would also be seen playing the 75-year-old son to Big B. More significantly, Umesh Shukla will launch his banner, Benchmark Pictures, with the film.
102 Not Out is inspired by a Gujarati play which has completed over 300 shows and is still running.
The director revealed - "Soumya, the brother of Abhijat Joshi who has scripted 3 Idiots and P.K., is developing the script which we hope to lock in a week's time."
The filmmaker added - "The film doesn't have a heroine but I'm looking forward to working with Amitji whom I had in mind even when we were working on the play. Fifteen minutes into the narration he gave the nod."
There are also reports that both Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar will be part of the sequel to 'Oh My God'
Asked about the sequel plans,Shukla commented "The idea is to make a bigger and better film and whenever it happens Paresh bhai, Akshay, Hemal Thakkar and I will be doing it. All is well."
