The remake of Himmatwala is nowadays much talk about since the Director of the film Sajid Khan has said that the film will be his career’s best film so far. Now the film is again in talks as the news of item number in film is out. Actress Sonakshi Sinha will be doing a raunchy item number in the film.
Sonakshi who recently did item number in Akshay Kumar’ film ‘oh My God’ with Prabhu Deva, is now all set to shake legs in the remake of Himmatwala starring Ajay Devgn. The item song is titled 'Thank God It's Friday', it has been inspired by the 80's disco theme. The song will also feature 100 dancers and 400 extras which is inspired from the song 'Jawani Jaaneman' from Namak Halal.
This item number will feature as an introductory song in the film. Manish Malhotra will be designing Sonakshi's costumes. Sachin-Jigar has composed music for this particular item song which is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan.
